Life with two year old

SNIPPITS:
My son saw the down-town skyline on Saturday driving to a northern burb and was very excited. “Mommy! A castle!!! It’s a castle!” And if you look at the outline of big tall buildings clumped together, it certainly does look like a castle. I love seeing things through the eyes of a toddler!

Last night, Daddy was in the bedroom resting his ankle, and little boy saw me bring his plate back there. He decided to make dinner for Daddy too. Three wooden acorns in a tiny little wood pot. He was considerate enough to bring his little wood salt shaker too.

Baby boy is obsessed with letters lately. Every so often over the past months he’d point out letters and say “ABCD!”. He did that again the other night to the letters spelling his name on the wall, so I told him those letters say “Walker”. For the past two days, any time he sees letters (a store, bus, magazine) he gets excited and annouces “ABCDWalker!”

And that’s all I’ve got for today!
